Poem to our Trip Leaders

To Jen, Chris and Jethro Jed,

Thru miles of canyons you have led
This group of people young and old
Sometimes fearful, sometimes bold
You cooked our meals, set up camp
Thank God the weather was never damp
Our blistered feet you helped to mend
Everyday to the bitter end
We stunk like beasts at the end of the day
Into the shower shuttle, hip hip hurray
Our camp was lively with music ad jest
A happening jamboree in the wild, wild west
Us city folks will remember with a smile
Our fabulous guides who were behind us every mile.
